Terms of Service

These terms apply to GC Roster, a subcontractor document tracking service operated by Luca-Joel Riechert, Germany ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your company.
Business use only
GC Roster is for businesses. By signing up you confirm that you act for a business and are authorized to accept these terms.
What the service does
The service collects certificates of insurance, licenses, OSHA cards and lien waivers from your subcontractors, can suggest values read from them, compares confirmed values with requirements you set, shows a status for starting work and for upcoming payments, and sends reminders.
What the service does not do
- It is not insurance or legal advice, and we are not an insurance agent or broker.
- It does not tell you whether anyone is covered. A certificate is only evidence and does not change a policy. Endorsements and contract wording are not reviewed.
- Automatic reading can be wrong. Values count only after you confirm them, and confirming them is your responsibility.
- It does not decide whether a sub may start work or be paid. "Ready to start" and "Cleared for payment" only say that your own requirements are met, based on the documents you confirmed. No money moves through the service, and the decision stays yours.
- It does not tell you whether a license or exemption is required or genuine.
Lien waivers
GC Roster only collects and tracks lien waivers. It does not provide waiver forms, review their content, or determine whether a waiver is valid or enforceable. Requirements vary by state. You choose the waiver type, and "marked as received" only records your own action. Consult your attorney about which waivers you need and what they mean.
Your responsibilities
- You decide your requirements and any exceptions, and you remain responsible for your compliance decisions.
- You may only add subcontractors you have a business relationship with, and you are responsible for having the right to send them requests and reminders.
- You are responsible for what you ask of subcontractors and for any law that applies to the forms you collect.
- Keep access to your account secure.
Trial, plans and payment
New accounts get a free trial without a credit card. After that, a paid plan is needed to keep reminders and uploads running. Plans differ in features and in the number of active subs. A sub counts as active once they were on a project in the last 12 months. Plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time, and your plan then runs until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it. Prices exclude applicable taxes.
Your data
Your data stays yours. You can export it and delete your account at any time. See the privacy notice.
Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Keep your own copies of anything you must retain by law or contract, using the export.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including premium adjustments, claims, liens, double payments or lost profits. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may change these terms and will tell you in advance by email for material changes. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
